DAVID FAIRBROTHERS

Co-founder/CEO

David provides leadership and direction to the company’s goal of empowering providers with technology that improves workflow and increases the quality and value. He’s a tech entrepreneur with ten plus years of experience in building companies that address problems in industries spanning the consumer internet to healthcare technology. David holds a BA from the University of Virginia and is a former member of its football team.

Gordon Sween

President/COO

Gordon leads the delivery of Dorsata’s products and services as well as business development. For the past 30 years, he has been working in technology, operations, and sales with both startup and established organizations. His previous positions include CAO at Bright Health, COO at Avalon Healthcare Solutions, and COO at UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement. Initially a mainframe developer, he now limits his programing to spreadsheet formulas, but still enjoys diving deep on process and technology. Gordon earned his BA from Wartburg College in Waverly, IA.

GREG HERRINGTON

Co-founder/VP Product

Greg leads all aspects of product innovation, design, and development. He’s a technology entrepreneur and full stack web engineer, with more than ten years of experience building scalable consumer and enterprise-focused SaaS companies. Greg holds a BA from the University of Virginia and an MBA from the Darden School School of Business at the University of Virginia.

AIXA ALMONTE

VP Customer Success

Aixa (pronounced “eye-za”) is responsible for customer onboarding, implementation, account management, all other activity post-sales, and content development for all of Dorsata’s content providers including ACOG. She has nearly two decades of experience building and scaling processes and teams in Client Relationship Development and Services, Product Management, and Consulting including seven years at athenahealth. Aixa holds an AB in Visual Arts and Ethnic Studies from Brown University and an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation, and Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.

BRANDON BOSWELL

VP User Experience

With more than seven years building intuitive front-end applications in Javascript, HTML, and SCSS, as well as backend APIs in Ruby and Node, Brandon is responsible for translating provider best-practices into efficient workflows that make sense at the point of care. Brandon holds a BS in Marketing and an MBA in Data Analytics from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Chip Ach

VP of Engineering

Chip Ach (pronounced like the composer Bach, without the B) is responsible for the engineering team at Dorsata, working with the overall product team to ensure that code gets from idea to released (and working!) product. He has put in many years in healthcare technology (including 14 years at athenahealth, notably as the founding architect & engineering lead for the marketplace program, More Disruption Please), starting in the DevOps world and transitioning to software development and engineering management. Chip holds an AB from The College at the University of Chicago and an MBA from the High-Tech MBA program at Northeastern University.

Gail McKenna

Senior Director, Customer Success

Gail brings a passion for onboarding, training, and customer success to Dorsata with 12+ years of health care technology leadership experience at athenahealth, focused on practice management, EHR, and patient portal/communication implementations that align with industry standards and quality of care. Gail’s accomplishments include implementation oversight, post-live support, people management/recruiting, training development, success metric analysis, athenaClinicals consulting, workflow design, and change leadership within her organization. Beyond her work, Gail enjoys family, animal advocacy, travel, music, exercise, the ocean and is “a little bit Country”.

MARK KOLB

Chairman

Mark is an executive with broad experience in the healthcare, life sciences and IT industries. To date, he has served as CEO of three separate companies. As the former CEO and Founder of Taratec, Mark sold the business to Patni Computer Systems. He would stay with Patni to run their Life Sciences division before departing to become CEO of Dynamic Clinical Systems which he in turn sold to Press Ganey. He has served for 12 years as a Trustee of the Somerset Medical Center. An avid runner, Mark has run both the Boston and NYC marathons.
